This 19 panel exhibit shares the experiences of residents of WNC who are personally connected to the Shoah (Hebrew word for the Holocaust). Their stories create a timeline from the beginning of the Holocaust in the early 1930’s to the present impact survivor’s and their families continue to face.
Choosing to Remember is also connected to an archive for further research at www.toto.lib.unca.edu/projects/Shoa. Click the link to read the full testimonies of those interviewed for this project.
