Jeff Lauer

Jeff Lauer is a third year Sociology Major and Political Science Minor.  Before moving to Asheville, he lived in Chicago for the first 18 years of his life and has now found a home in NC. As the Queer Youth Outreach Educator, Jeff is excited to connect and learn from the LGBTQ community here at UNCA, as well as the greater Asheville community. As a part of Center for Diversity Education, he hopes to bring sensitivity and openness while discussing and sharing experiences and tackling issues pertinent to queer individuals. In addition to Center for Diversity, Jeff also works at the Career Center on campus. In his free time, Jeff enjoys going out to eat, making music with his friends, and looking at pretty things.
