This 14 panel exhibit takes a look at the joys and challenges of families in Asheville's growing and vibrant gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgender community and encourages citizens to explore the common ground shared by all families.

Youth OUTright
A non-profit that supports and empowers gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning youth in WNC with weekly events and other resources.
 
Campaign for Southern Equality
Anon-profit that supports the rights of marriage for GLBT families in WNC and across the South.
 
Equality NC
A statewide group dedicated to securing equal rights and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people.


 

K-12 Schools:

The exhibits are available at no-charge for up to a one month loan with pickup at UNC Asheville Highsmith Student Union Front Desk. Includes easels,  teacher materials, and student guides.

Houses of Worship, Community Organizations, Non- Profits, Post Secondary Schooling: 

$300 rental*

A staff member will drop the exhibit off and return for pick up one month later.  The borrowing agency is responsible for exhibit installation.

Businesses and Corporations:

$500 rental*

A staff member will drop the exhibit off and return for pick up one month later. The renting agency is responsible for exhibit installation.  Day rates are available at $50.00
